With the aim of providing information and methods to help ministries and local authorities to strengthen the integration of climate change response and green growth into policy decision-making process and identify appropriate investment projects and programs; enhance the readiness of Vietnam at both Central and local level in accessing, managing and coordinating international cash flows for climate change and green growth, Green Growth Strategy Facility Project (GGSF) has organized the training workshops on Guidelines for Classification of Public Expenditures for climate change and green growth in three region, the North, Central and South.

On the 12^th of May the Embassy of Belgium has organized the event “A touch of Belgium” to mark and to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Belgium. GGSF project has supported the event with quiz game and some communication products.

On 30 March 2018, the official conclusion of Grant Agreements for the pilot projects in in Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces has been done under the framework of the Green Growth Strategy Facility (GGSF).

Project Management Unit of Green Growth Strategy Facility (GGSF) has supported Ha Tinh province with a Project "Analysis, assessment and recommendation of solutions to minimize environmental pollution Nghen river water towards Green growth". At the moment, this project is absolutely necessary. The results of these scientific researches, if done well, will be important and input information for directing the sustainable development strategy of the province.

To achieve the goal of creating jobs, generating incomes, improving the living standards for rural workers, contributing to environmental protection, land reclamation, improvement of the quality of agricultural products, towards sustainable development, GGSF has supported Ha Tinh province with the project: "Application of science and technology to develop a model on mushroom growing and organic fertilizer production from agricultural wastes/byproducts in Ha Tinh province".

The project is expected to contribute to changing the facade of the communes of Hong Son, Ham Duc, Ham Chinh and Ham Phu, improving the standard of living for the community. It contributes to implement the Green Growth action plan of the province through the pilot green growth project under support of GGSF.

The pilot project under support of GGSF will invest in the irrigation canal and part of the water-efficient irrigation system in order to improve agricultural efficiency, develop toward sustainable and green growth. 

The project is expected to help to use effectively and save scarce water resources in arid regions for production, while improving productivity and product quality. It contributes to implement the Green Growth action plan of the province through the pilot green growth project supported by GGSF.

The project is expected to developing drip irrigation for development of urban trees in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province. It contributes to implement the Green Growth action plan of the province through the pilot green growth project supported by GGSF.

Under the framework of the Green Growth Strategy Facility (GGSF Project), the GGSF Project supported Ha Tinh province to develop the Green Growth Action Plan (GGAP) based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Planning and Investment for developing GGAP in provinces.
